Position Responsibilities
The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:
- Drive daily Team Member Relations
- Control labor costs and maintain workforce according to budget
- Administer Corrective Action and Performance Management
- Responsible Policy Development
- Administer reward systems
- Enable a working environment where sharing knowledge and expertise is encouraged.
- Support Operations Management
- Support other Logistics Centers
- Ensure Safety Compliance
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation; insure compliance.
- Drive for continuous improvement - HR processes.
- Develop relationships with the leadership teams
- Administer Cradle to Grave HR functions related to hiring and new member onboarding and exits
- All other duties as may be assigned at management's discretion.
Required Skills and Abilities
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Human Resource Experience in Distribution and or Manufacturing
Beneficial Skills and Experience
- Development and execution of HR strategies
- Bi Lingual in Spanish would be a major advantage

Education/Training/Certifications
- 5 years HR leadership role field experience desired but not required
- BS in Human Resources or related field; MBA or MS with HR emphasis a strong plus
- Demonstrated understanding of core HR competencies - Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Recruiting and Retention, Talent Management and Organizational Development, Performance Management, Compliance, EHS & Risk Management, Change Management
- Demonstrated success implementing HR programs, systems and initiatives
- Strong business aptitude; specific industry/business experience preferred

- Travel is not regularly required for this role.
Work Environment Requirements
