Position Responsibilities

The incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:

Maintaining freight operations, including planning, design, FIFO, Productivity, Quality and Safety including a range of business tasks carried out relating to the smooth and efficient operation of Logistical processes including but not limited to

• Analysis of North American freight patterns and requirements
• Design of truck routes; Component pick-ups and Customer deliveries
• Coordinate expedited shipments
• Analyze customer issues and facilitate corrective action
• Liaison between Carriers, Suppliers, and Customers
• Monitor safety procedures and recommend necessary training
• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports and offer improvement ideas
• Identify, communicate, and resolve issues that may hinder operations
• Assist with development of productive methods for the most efficient flow of goods from receipt to shipment
• Assist with control of logistics budgets. Review allocation of staff resources according to changing

Beneficial Skills and Experience

• Bi-lingual in Spanish Preferred.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Internal candidates with significant Aisin experience will be considered.

Travel Requirements

• Approximately 10 %
• Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
